Jeremy Hensley, LEED AP
Jeremy is the Owner & President of J.Hensley Services. He was trained by the Air Force in Civil Engineering and Site Work. While always having a passion for fine woodworking and carpentry, Jeremy started his construction career full-time in 1996, and started general contracting in 2003. Some of his other interests include business, real estate, fine home building practices, and continual self-improvement. Some hobbies he enjoys in his free-time include fishing, hunting, sporting clays, hiking, kyaking, tinkering in his garage, Jeeps and classic trucks.
Jeremy has been happliy married for over 20 years, has two daughers in college, and an 11 year old golden retreiver named Tucker (his only son!). In his younger days, he coached his daughters soccer teams and ran the Flying Pig Marathon.
Roofing Supervisor & Lead Carpenter
Wes has over 20 years experience in the roofing business, and also as a superintendent, running projects and managing crews. His interests include coaching travel fast-pitch softball (for the last 8 years) and he currently coaches a Cincy Doom softball team. His other hobbies include spending time with family and friends and attending sporting events such as football and baseball.
Wes' family includes his wife Heather, their daughter, Emily, and their three dogs.
Supervisor & Lead Carpenter
Mike has 40 plus years experience in all aspects of carpentry from home building to cabinet design & build to antique repair. Mike joined the J. Hensley team a couple of years ago as a trim carpenter, prior to that he spent 14 years traveling coast to coast installing wine cellars.
Mike lives on a small farm with wife Ginny , a Bernese Mountain dog and several cats.
His hobbies are gardening, both vegetable and flower gardens, and his weekends are spent taking care of the farm.
Kyle originally came to J.Hensley Services in 2014 for an internship through school, and he is now a full-time part of the team! He graduated from Cincinnati State with Associates Degrees in Architectural Civil Engineering and Construction Management. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing & anything outdoors.
Kyle is the youngest of two with an older sister, and he has a boxer named Cali.
Taylor's main background is in underground and surface mining operations along with heavy equipment. He is currently enrolled at Northern Kentucky University in the construction management program, although he originally started college in South Dakota, majoring in mining engineering and playing football. His hobbies include working in his metal and wood shops creating all kinds of different things. He also is a big sports follower, and enjoys staying active in the gym.
Chris was a journeyman carpenter in the union for 15 years, and has over 22 years of carpentry experience total. Chris' interests include hunting, fishing, and sports. He has coached youth football for the last 7 years as well.
Clayton McCart was born into carpentry, his family of carpenters goes back generations. His hobbies include creating in his woodworking shop and doing "Tough Mudder" style runs. Clayton and his wife Kristen were blessed with a baby girl in September 2016. Before working at J. Hensley Services, Clayton was diagnosed with brain cancer, after a long hard fight he is in remission and enjoys his work wholeheartedly.
Anthony started with J.Hensley Services in 2015 as our first on-staff electrician. He has almost 30 years of experience in his field. Some of Anthony's hobbies include hiking and bowling in his spare time. Anthony comes from a large family and has 6 siblings. He also has 7 children between him and his wife, and they have two dogs named Buddy & Chanel.
Matt recently retired after a 25.5 yr. career in law enforcement. He has been married to his wife Pam for 27 yrs. They have two sons Mitchell (age 21) and Taylor (age 25). They are big sports fans and both of his sons played college football. In his free time, he enjoys boating, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Mary as several years experience repairing and restoring old homes in Cincinnati and San Francisco. She has also worked in the antiques trade and has experience as a Metalsmith. Other hobbies include Art History, American History, and Painting. On Mary's off days, you will find her in an antique store, looking for historic homes online, or gardening in her backyard.
Joey joined J.Hensley Services right out of high school to learn the painting trade. Joey assisted our lead painters for a few years and is now a full-time painter himself. In his free time, Joey enjoys anything outdoors from fishing, kayaking, hunting, and mountain biking. He also has a large appreciation for art and music and you can usually find him with a guitar or banjo in hand!
Lee came to J.Hensley Services with 25 years experience painting, and 20 years of distressing and antiquing wood and kitchen cabinets. In his free time, Lee has coached youth basketball for 15 years. He has been married for 20 years to his wife Jami, and they have two great kids. His son Kobe is studying chemical engineering at Miami University, and his daughter Kloe is a sophomore at Rodger Bacon High School.
Lauren has been the Office Manager at J. Hensley Services for the last 8 years.
She graduated from Thomas More College in 2009 with her Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Art History. Her interests also include interior design & decorating. In her free time, Lauren enjoys shopping, spending time with her family, and going to her family farm. Lauren and her husband Matt have two daughters, Lonna and Brynn.
